After extensive renovations, the 1912 Saint Bernadette Church in Canadensis is now the Pocono Palms wedding venue. The grand arches and black and white color scheme serve as a dramatic ceremony, or you can take advantage of the historical aspect of the structure for a wedding that is both beautiful and charming.
The venue features an outdoor garden ceremony site and cocktail area and a large, indoor reception hall with stunning archways, lush greenery, and custom-built tables. The decommissioned church circa 1912 has been restored into a contemporary enclave complete with secret spots.
The Palms offers micro wedding and elopement packages along with traditional larger packages.
The villages of Barrett consist are Cresco, Mountainhome, Canadensis, Buck Hill Falls, and Skytop. Pocono Palms is actually in Canadensis, nestled in the heart of the Poconos, just two hours from New York and Philadelphia. The area is a perfect weekend getaway, surrounded by nature, with all the Pocono Mountains have to offer, from skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer.
